It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted any car finds or flowers. So here’s some cars:
I’ve been past here a bunch but just noticed all but one were old Mercs and nearly all wagons. If you combined them all you might have one or one and a half decent cars.

Eh, these used to litter the junkyard a decade ago.

If any of y’all are wondering 505Turbeaux is doing great. His collection is eclectic as ever, and h e just welcomed a baby girl into the world a few weeks ago!

Nice color on that close up 123 wagon and what appears to be a China Blue car in the background. Still tons of neglected examples out there wasting away, with high survival rates and sturdy build quality, they will be around forever.

That Mercedes rust though... The drivetrain is stout, but the rust is always present. I have had a 1985 300CD, a 1986 300D and a 1988 190E and they all had rust issues. Most commonly, rocker panel rust at the jack holes.

I’m on the west/best coast, what’s “ rust” ? :)
But yeah, these can go in the rockers and trunk/floor pans. Doesn’t often happen here though, and structural rust on a local example is virtually unknown.

I like the Peugs. On second thought I like the Mercedes too.
